Sarah Beth Byrum - Instructor/Owner
Sarah Beth Byrum received her Bachelor's of Arts in Dance from the University of Oregon in 1999 and founded All That! Dance Company that same year. Ms. Byrum also currently serves as the Artistic Director for Upstart Crow Studios. Ms. Byrum began dancing at the age of three, training in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, musical theate, modern, lyrical jazz, and more. Ms. Byrum was a founding member of ZAP Productions, a member of Dance Oregon, Knossos Greek Dance Company, and performed in many concerts and showings through the University of Oregon. Her experience as an instructor includes private dance studios, high school dance teams, and district programming. Her credentials include: the Talented and Gifted Institute's Summer Enrichment Program, On Your Toes School of Dance, the 4-J School Enrichment Program, the BEST Program, Amazon Stage, Eastside Elementary School, Pleasant Hill High School, Spotlight Theatre and many more. Ms. Byrum has also been published in Spotlight on Dance, a national publication, for her research in gender as it affects dance education. Ms. Byrum has been awarded for her outstanding work in the area of dance education by the National Dance Educators Association, Oregon Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, the Junior Miss Scholarship Program, and Phi Beta Fraternity for the Arts. She has also been recognized for her community service efforts by the Ford Family Foundation and was featured in the national publication of Family Fun Magazine. Ms. Byrum shares her love for dance with students of all ages from toddlers through adults.

Marie Pederson - Senior Instructor
Marie Pederson has been dancing for over fifteen years. In her youth, she studied as a student of Spotlight Theatre, then went on to receive training through Lane Community College's Dance Department and All That! Dance Company. As a member of Spotlight Theatre's Production Company, Marie gained first hand experience integrating dance technique with performance and showmanship. She has studied jazz, tap, hip-hop, musical theatre, and lyrical jazz techniques, as well as serving as an instructor for all age levels for over ten years. Marie has played starring roles in productions such as Kathy in Singin' in the Rain, Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie, and Rizzo in Grease. Marie's extensive experience in Musical Theatre productions and performance allow her to access a high level of performance skills within her students. She has served as a choreographer for countless major musical productions as well as smaller shows and dinner theatres. Marie has taught for All That! Dance Company in a variety of capacities for the past eight years and heads up our Springfield Studio programming.

Becca Morris - Instructor
Becca Morris began her training with All That! Dance Company as a teenager and has continued to grow with our studio. Studying jazz, lyrical, modern, ballet, hip hop, swing and more, Becca's love for dance is coupled by a breadth of knowledge in a wide range of dance idioms. After high school, Becca continued her dance training at a collegiate level as she entered the Lane Community College Dance program. Her study has continued as she improves her technique and performance skills through the LCC Dance Department. Becca is a well seasoned performer and has presented solo works as well as group pieces through Lane's Student concerts. Becca was a member of the prestigious LCC Repertory company as well as receiving a talent grant to continue her dance study.

Chris Gorney - Instructor
We are very excited to have the talented Chris Gorney heading up our one of a kind Boys Hip Hop program. As a child, Chris was named the "Bouncing Boy" by his family. Growing up he was actively involved in sports, gymnastics, and the martial arts. Christopher earned his BFA in Dance Choreography and Performance from the University of Montana in 2002. While in school, he directed his own group of dancers that he called "The Urban Dance Allstars", and performed with Mo-Trans, a professional touring modern dance company. After graduating Chris moved to Seattle where he began teaching Hip Hop and Breaking at several dance studios. He also became a leading member of Breaking Point Dance Company. Chris taught and performed all over the Seattle metropolitan area for 3 years before moving to Eugene and attending the University of Oregon. Christopher is a Graduate Teaching Fellow and his focus in his MFA studies is the history and evolution of Hip Hop Dance. You will often find Chris practicing his moves in the dance department or with his crew, the Raw Action Break Squad.

Allie & Shaun Thompson - Instructors
Allie Thompson began dancing with All That! Dance as a teen and was quickly placed on our competitive dance team which went on to win many regional and national titles. Her training was well rounded with classes in jazz, hip hop, lyrical, swing, and musical theatre. When Allie met her husband, Shaun, he brought to the table a wealth of knowledge in the area of ballroom dance. Together, they have continued their study of ballroom and brought their passionate and clean style to our program. This husband and wife team keep our youth behaving as ladies and gentlemen in our prospering ballroom program.

Sarah Foster - Instructor
Sarah Foster is the newest member of the All That! Team and joins our studio bringing her expertise in Hip Hop dance and choreography. Sarah began her dance studies at the age of seven at Albany Dance Academy. She continued her training throughout high school and danced for four years on West Albany High School's Dance Team. During her senior year, she was offered a full ride Dance scholarship to Hawaii Pacific University. She later went on to the University of Oregon, where she served as Captain of the U of O's Dance Team. She went on to lead her team to a National Championship win in 2006. She has choreographed for many organizations such as the U of O Dance Team, Willamette High School, Sheldon High School, Breakdown Dance Company and more. We are thrilled to welcome Sarah to our team this year as our resident hip hop expert.

Hanna Bowers - Instructor
Hanna Bowers has been dancing since the age of four in her home state of Montana. She trained at several local private dance studios and was placed on her studio's competitive team. She continued dancing through high school and was also the Captain of her Cheerleading squad for Skyview High School. After graduation, Hanna made the decision to continue her dance education and moved to Eugene to pursue college level training. Hanna enrolled in the Lane Community College Dance Program and took classes in a wide range of dance styles. She also began assisting in classes at All That! Dance this same year. Hanna eventually transferred to the University of Oregon and is now pursuing her degree at the U of O with a minor in Dance. Hanna is in her third year on the teaching staff of All That! Dance and has taught and assisted in classes from preschoolers through teens.

Kyle Sorensen - Instructor
Kyle Sorensen has danced professionally with Disney Productions, trained on a talent-scholarship at EDGE Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, performed at the Los Angeles Theater Center, at the Director's Guild in LA, as well as throughout the western states & Europe, taught/directed at All That Jazz Dance Studio for six years, and appeared in a SWING! Dance instruction video as the featured dancer. His choreography has been seen in several states and across Austria, Europe; and his original, digitally-mastered music has been included on the hip hop instruction dvd of an Emmy-nominated choreographer. More recently, Kyle has taught and been Dance Director at Arthur Murray Ballroom Dance Studios in Portland. He is currently finishing his degree as a Dance Major at the University of Oregon. Kyle was born to dance and considers it a privilege to transfer his love of dance to others.
