Sarah Beth Byrum | Company Director
Sarah Beth Byrum received her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance from the University of Oregon and founded All That! Dance Company that same year. Sarah Beth began dancing at the age of three, training in all styles. Sarah Beth was published in Spotlight on Dance and featured in Family Fun Magazine. She was the recipient of prestigious Gerald E. Bruce Award by the Ford Family Foundation. She has also been awarded by the National Dance Educators Association, Oregon Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, the Junior Miss Scholarship Program, and Phi Beta Fraternity for the Arts. Sarah Beth was recently honored by the University of Oregon's Dance Department with their prestigious Community Partnership Award. Her expertise has been published in Dance Studio Life magazine and she is a member of the worldwide Dance Studio Owners Association. Sarah Beth's passion for dance has led her to produce over fifty full length concert events, as well as being the founder and creative director for the annual production of the Nutcracker Remixed. She has received countless awards for her choreography and the technical proficiency of her students at both regional and national competitions. Sarah Beth shares her love for dance with students of all ages from toddlers through adults.
Marie Pederson | Assistant Director
Marie Pederson began her dance training at Spotlight Theatre, then went on to dance at Lane Community College’s Dance Department and at All That! Dance Company. As a member of Spotlight Theatre’s Production Company, Marie gained first hand experience integrating dance technique with performance and showmanship. Marie has played starring roles in productions such as Kathy in Singin’ in the Rain, Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie, and Rizzo in Grease. Marie has served as a choreographer for countless major musical productions and has taught for All That! Dance Company for over fifteen years. Marie was the head coach for Pleasant Hill High School and Marist High School's Dance Team. She was also a founding member and choreographer for Fusion Contemporary Dance Company. Recently, Marie also served as a guest professional and choreographer for the annual "Dancing With the Realtors" event. Marie's choreography has won numerous awards at regional and national competitions and her creativity in staging gains her recognition wherever her work is showcased.
Dawn hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she received her Bachelor of Science in Communications and Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Slippery Rock University. She has worked previously as an Operations Manager for Apogee Health and Wellness in Manhattan. Dawn's choreography has been adjudicated by American College Dance Association at Ohio State and she was the awarded 2002 Choreographer of the Year by the SRU Dance Department. Her work has been presented in LABCO's Black Box Series, Dance New Amsterdam's Works in Progress, and Dumbo Dance Festival. Dawn's incredible blend of dance expertise and business acumen makes her the perfect fit for the ATD family. Dawn is our Studio Manager and you can find her smiling face every day at our Eugene office.
Katey recently moved to Eugene from New York City! Katey holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance Performance from Oklahoma City University. This is her second season with ATD and she is also the choreographer for Upstart Crow Studios. Katey has served on the faculty at multiple dance studios and has had many choreographic works performed in New York City, Chicago, Texas, and Oklahoma. Katey has been on staff with I Love Dance and Ticket to Broadway dance competitions. Favorite performance credits include Cigarette Girl in White Christmas, Olga Mara in Singin’ in the Rain, and Grittlebone in Cats. She has also danced with NY Theatre Barn and Erin Pryor Dance Theatre in New York City. Katey is excited to inspire and share her love of theatre and dance with the next generation of performers!
Chelsea trained in classical ballet for fourteen years and was formerly an instructor at Eugene Ballet Academy. She went on to become the primary ballet instructor, teaching all levels of ballet at Absolute Dance Company in Colorado. Chelsea has taught at ATD for the past four seasons, beginning our teaching apprenticeship program under director Sarah Beth Byrum and quickly transitioning to lead teacher. Chelsea recently completed her degree at the University of Oregon with a focus on child development through the Family & Human Services Department. Chelsea has a spirited preschooler of her own and works with our youngest dancers all the way up to our advanced ballet classes, sharing her passion for dance with all of our students.
Christina Lindsay graduated from the Eugene School of Ballet in 2005, where she was the recipient of numerous scholarships and a member of the Eugene Youth Group. She had the pleasure of performing with the Eugene Ballet Company in multiple performances such as The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Dracula, Swan Lake and many more. She has also performed with Dance Theatre of Oregon in works such as, Peter and The Wolf, The Jungle Book, For The Birds and others. Christina has studied and performed with Long Beach Ballet Arts, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Ballet Idaho, University of Oregon dance program, and Lane Community College. Christina has studied mainly classical ballet but developed a love of contemporary ballet in the later years of her dance career. She found a passion for choreography and has choreographed three full works with Bambino Productions, and multiple various pieces for Lane Community College, Eugene Ballet Academy and Core Dance Studio. Christina is passionate about bringing the love of dance into the studio and sharing it with aspiring dancers.
Jaylene has been a lifetime lover of dance and dance student. She began dance at a young age studying ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical. She continued her studies through her time at Western Oregon University as a member of the university’s dance team. She went on to receive her degree in education and is currently a kindergarten teacher in the Springfield School District. Jaylene loves blending her passion for dance and for early childhood education in her role as a dance teacher. Jaylene has taught for ATD for the past three years and loves working with all of her students. She is a mom to two boys and one beautiful girl. Her joy for dance and love for children shine through in every one of her classes.
Jennifer Welch grew up dancing at All That! Dance Company. She trained in all styles and was a member of ATD’s award-winning competitive dance teams. She went on to enter ATD’s teacher training program, serving as a teaching assistant for the past five years. She was a member of Fusion, ATD’s adult contemporary dance company for two seasons honing her dance skills with pre-professional experience. Jenny has continued her own dance training through workshops, master classes, and conventions and currently serves as a lead teacher and a teaching assistant for numerous classes in our program.
Conner Rabe has been dancing since age 6, training in hip-hop and break dancing. He trained on his own and then joined a studio competitive team in high school. He has competed and choreographed in many performances and is passionate about sharing hip hop and breaking with his students. This past season, Conner led All That! Dance Company's all boys hip hop group to taking the Top Scoring Group award at the regional Turn It Up Dance Showcase. His boys competitive team also took top honors at Thunderstruck Dance Competition, being named in the Top Ten groups in the northwest. This is Conner's second year with the company and he is thrilled to get back in to the studio working with our hip hop program and directing our all boys hip hop team.
Sarah Pecht began her dance training at Christiansen School of Dance and Utah Dance Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. At the age of 11, she began training with Ballet West Conservatory in conjunction with the University of Utah Ballet Department. Sarah went on to receive her B.F.A, Summa Cum Laude from Southern Utah University in Dance Education and Health Education. While at SUU she was a member of the Waukeenyan Dance Team, and Orchesis Dance Company. In 2006 Sarah had the privilege to dance in the American College Dance Festival in Long Beach, California. Upon graduation, Sarah went on to run a full dance program at Jefferson Junior High School for five years. As the Head Dance Instructor and Dance Company Adviser, she worked with more than 250 children yearly. She has taught and choreographed at many studios and companies throughout the state of Utah including Creative Arts Academy. Sarah has been a judge for Releve Dance Competitions and the University of Utah Dance Cup. As an educator, Sarah has taught Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Tumbling, Tap and Modern. Sarah has worked with ATD for the past four seasons and is the head or our Tricks & Tumbling program.
Kennedy grew up in Orange County where she had extensive dance training. She was trained in ballet, jazz, pom, and hip hop under Dan Sapp, who coaches and choreographs for the UDA Collegiate National Champions, The University of Minnesota. Kennedy has competed at The USASF Dance Worlds with the studio Pace Elite numerous times and has medaled in the top 3. In high school, her dance team was National Champions in the character and jazz category at the USA High School Dance Team Nationals. She is a current member of the University of Oregon Dance Team, where they placed 2nd at USA Collegiate Dance Team Nationals. Kennedy is excited to join the ATD family and to use her training to help the dancers grow.
Olivia began dancing at the age of 3. Growing up in Traverse City, Michigan she studied ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, tap and hip hop under the direction of teachers such as Betsy Carr, Sue Buck, Melinda Baker, Marjorie Randazzo and Melissa Ray at Dance Arts Academy. Under Carr, she was also fortunate to train, perform, and tour with Company Dance Traverse for 10 years, working with guest artists such as Suzi Taylor, Lauren Adams and Andy Pellick. In July of 2018 she was pleased to attend a summer intensive with Hubbard Street Dance Company in Chicago. She is currently a senior at the University of Oregon, pursuing a double major in Dance and Public Relations. During her time at the U of O she has been delighted to work professionally on projects such as Harmonic Laboratory’s “Tesla: Light, Sound, Color,” under the direction of Brad Garner as well as Daniel Daly’s graduate thesis opera, “The Banshee.” She is excited to be joining the ATD family and looks forward to the upcoming season!
Tianna Betz grew up dancing at All That! Dance Company from the age of seven, training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, tap, musical theatre, and ballroom. While dancing with ATD she also was a member of the competitive dance teams and served as Senior Captain for the Force Team. Tianna was also a member of the pre-professional contemporary dance company, Expressions, and was featured as the lead role of “Sandy” in the theatrical production of Grease. Tianna is currently a freshman at the University of Oregon, pursuing a major in dance and minor in theatre arts.
Kethry grew up with dance in her blood and has not been able to shake it since! As a young dancer, Kethry trained in Portland in studios and transitioned in to a competitive dance setting as well. Kethry trained in all styles, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop. Kethry was a member of the MVP Elite Pre-Professional Company and also worked at the studio as both front desk support and as a substitute teacher. Kethry’s work ethic extends off the dance floor as well as she has maintained her academic standards on the dean’s list at the University of Oregon where she is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree. Kethry is entering her second season with the ATD staff and is excited to continue to share her love of dance with the ATD students.
Lindsay received a minor in Dance from Wake Forest University in North Carolina, where she was captain of the Dance Team. During this time she also worked as an instructor for the Universal Dance Association, coached two competitive teams, and choreographed for several others. After college, she moved to Virginia for her graduate studies, where she spent five years teaching many styles of dance with a focus on jazz, hip hop, and contemporary. She has recently moved to Eugene and is very excited to join the ATD family!
RyLee grew up dancing at ATD from the age of three. She excelled through each level of studio training, working her way up to the most advanced level competitive team. RyLee has had the opportunity to travel with her dance company and train through convention with some of the industry greats, such as Mandy Moore, Tessandra Chavez, Brian Friedman, and many more. RyLee has performed at countless concerts, competitions, and larger scale venues such as a guest performer in Disneyland Theme Park, for Carnival Cruise Lines, and as a halftime performer for the Holiday Bowl. RyLee was recently named as the Top Senior Soloist for Spotlight Dance Cup's Nationals and she can't wait to bring her training to the next generation of dancers.
KT Fuchs has been dancing for 18 years, training in ballet, modern, jazz, pointe, hip hop, partnering and West African. She studied at the Ailey School in New York City while attending Fordham University and is currently studying at the University of Oregon. KT is an amazing dance technician with a passion for teaching. This is her third season at ATD and she will be working with many of the classes in our Foundations program, along with coaching our Eugene Mini and Pulse Teams.
Coleman grew up dancing at ATD beginning at age five. He studied ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre, ballroom and acrobatics. He was part of the award-winning all male hip hop group ICU Crew and also danced for the Marist High School Dance Team. He went on to study dance at both LCC in Eugene and Western Oregon in Monmouth. Coleman has taken master classes and workshops from some of hip hop's greats including Dave Scott, Ian Eastwood, Robert Hoffman and more. Coleman works with our boys hip hop program mentoring the next generation of young male dancers.
I've grown up dancing at All That! Dance Company. The relationships I have developed have shaped me not only as a dancer but as a person. The studio is truly family.
