Sarah Beth Byrum
Sarah Beth Byrum received her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance from the University of Oregon and founded All That! Dance Company that same year. Sarah Beth began dancing at the age of three, training in all styles. Sarah Beth was published in Spotlight on Dance and featured in Family Fun Magazine. She was the recipient of prestigious Gerald E. Bruce Award by the Ford Family Foundation. She has also been awarded by the National Dance Educators Association, Oregon Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, the Junior Miss Scholarship Program, and Phi Beta Fraternity for the Arts. Sarah Beth shares her love for dance with students of all ages from toddlers through adults.
Marie Pederson began her dance training at Spotlight Theatre, then went on to dance at Lane Community College’s Dance Department and at All That! Dance Company. As a member of Spotlight Theatre’s Production Company, Marie gained first hand experience integrating dance technique with performance and showmanship. Marie has played starring roles in productions such as Kathy in Singin’ in the Rain, Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie, and Rizzo in Grease. Marie has served as a choreographer for countless major musical productions as well as smaller shows and dinner theatres. Marie has taught for All That! Dance Company for over ten years and heads up our Springfield Studio programming.
Debi grew up in the Portland area where she had extensive studio training. Debi was the Captain of her high school dance team, 2013 Miss Thunderbird, a member of the All State Dance Team, and a 2014 DDCA Dance Scholarship recipient. She went on to dance for the University of Florida Dazzlers Dance Team, and is currently a member of the nationally recognized University of Oregon Dance Team. She has worked for an instructor for the Universal Dance Association. She is a returning staff member and this is her second season with the ATD Team.
Jennifer Welch grew up dancing at All That! Dance Company. She trained in all styles and was a member of ATD’s award-winning competitive dance teams. She went on to enter ATD’s teacher training program, serving as a teaching assistant for the past three years. She was a member of Fusion, ATD’s adult contemporary dance company for two seasons honing her dance skills with pre-professional experience. Jenny has continued her own dance training through workshops, master classes, and conventions and currently serves as a lead teacher and a teaching assistant for numerous classes in our program.
Bryant is originally from Sylacauga, Alabama and graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s of Art in Dance. He went on to work for Celebrity Cruises, POET Theatricals, Arova Contemporary Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre. Bryant is currently a Graduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Oregon where he is pursuing his MFA in Dance (Performance & Choreography).
Katie’s love for dance began at just three years old and she has continued her training ever since. She trained at the American Academy of Ballet in New York and was an apprentice in the Academy of Dance Company. She has continued her training at the University of Oregon and joins our staff working in both our ballet and jazz program. Katie is a returning staff member and is coaching our Springfield Mini Team this season.
Conner Rabe has been dancing since age 6, training in hip-hop and break dancing. He trained on his own and then joined a studio competitive team in high school. He has competed and choreographed in many performances and is passionate about sharing hip hop and breaking with his students. Last season, Conner's all boys hip hop group took the Top Group Award at their regional dance competition and he is excited to work with our all male hip hop group again this season.
Chelsea trained in classical ballet for fourteen years and was an instructor at Eugene Ballet Academy. She went on to become the primary ballet instructor, teaching all levels of ballet at Absolute Dance Company in Colorado. Chelsea is currently pursuing her graduate studies at the University of Oregon. She is also a mom of a spirited toddler herself. Chelsea works with our little toddler classes all the way through our advanced ballet program and shares her love for ballet with all of our students.
Jaylene has been a lifetime lover of dance and dance student. She began dance at a young age and continued her studies through her time at Western Oregon University as a member of the university’s dance team. She went on to receive her degree in education and is currently a kindergarten teacher. Jaylene loves blending her passion for dance and for early childhood education in her role as a dance teacher. Jaylene has taught for ATD for the past three years, as well as teaching her own daughter, Brielle.
KT Fuchs has been dancing for 18 years, training in ballet, modern, jazz, pointe, hip hop, partnering and West African. She studied at the Ailey School in New York City while attending Fordham University and is currently studying at the University of Oregon. KT is an amazing dance technician with a passion for teaching. This is her third season at ATD and she will be working with many of the classes in our Foundations program, along with coaching our Eugene Mini and Pulse Teams.
